SDF's Security Enforcement imposes curfew on Deir ez-Zor for two days

The Military Council of Deir ez-Zor and the Internal Security Forces announced the imposition of a curfew in the Deir ez-Zor region to protect civilians and their property from mercenary armed groups, and prevent them from hiding among the civilians.

SDF's Media Center published a statement announcing the imposition of a curfew in the Deir ez-Zor region for two consecutive days, starting from tomorrow morning.

The statement read:

" Due to the security conditions in eastern Deir ez-Zor and exploitation of armed groups affiliated with some of the regime's security services, as well as ISIS cells the present situation to create strife in the region and try to lure civilians into their dirty plans, the Military Council of Deir ez-Zor and the Internal Security Forces announce a curfew on the Deir ez-Zor region, It starts at five o’clock in the morning tomorrow, September 2, for 48 hours.”

SDF affirmed its endeavor to protect the lives and property of civilians from the vandalism of mercenary armed groups.

SDF launched the Operation in the eastern bank of the Euphrates River in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, on August 27, against ISIS mercenaries, mercenaries, and criminals.
