US imposes sanctions on mercenaries of Turkish occupation

The United States of America imposed sanctions on two groups of mercenaries of the Turkish occupation for committing gross human rights violations in northern Syria.

The sanctions included the so-called "Suleiman Shah Brigade and the Hamza Division", affiliated with the Turkish occupation, as well as Muhammad Al-Jassem (Abu Amsha) and his brother Walid Al-Jassem, both of whom are leaders of the "Suleiman Shah Brigade," and the so-called "Saif Bolad Abu Bakr", leader of Al Hamza division for their association with serious human rights violations.

A statement issued by the US State Department stated that after 12 years of immense suffering, Syrians are still facing human rights violations.

The statement emphasized that the United States, along with its allies and partners, will continue its unwavering support for promoting respect for the dignity and human rights of all Syrians.

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation commit daily crimes against the residents of the occupied areas in Syria, especially in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and the leaders mentioned in the sanctions committed several crimes in Afrin.
