This morning, the Turkish occupation army bombed the center of Tal Rifaat district, which is crowded with the displaced from Afrin in al-Shahba canton, with about 10 artillery and mortar shells, which led to the injury of the citizen Azad Hussein Kaldada, and damage number of water transport tanks.

The Turkish occupation also targeted the vicinity of Tal Rifaat Hospital, in addition to targeting the outskirts of the city and the drinking water station that supplies hundreds of residents of the district with water.

In a follow-up to the effects of the bombing, ANHA agency monitored the opinions of a number of civilians in the center of Tal Rifaat district, during which they confirmed that the Turkish occupation had targeted them directly.

Khadija Hesso, a displaced woman from Afrin, said: "The Turkish occupation bombed the city of Tal Rifaat with several shells, some of which fell around us, and one of them fell near our house, 5 meters away. We were very afraid, and my children rushed out of fear to the other side of the city of Tal Rifaat."

Khadija explained that the Turkish occupation targeted a drinking water source near their house as well.

For his part, Mohammed Kadro, one of the witnesses to the bombing of the occupation, said, "I was sitting in front of the house and I saw shells raining down near us, and on the perimeter of the hospital."

He added, "They are targeting us directly," noting that the source of the shelling was from the occupied city of Mare' by the Turkish occupation army.

Regarding the water source stopping working, the co-chair of the Tal Rifaat Water Committee, Zulekha Misto, explained that the bombing of the Turkish occupation caused the stoppage of one of the sources that supplies the city of Tal Rifaat with drinking water, and it would cause an increase in the burden and suffering of the people, especially with the scarcity of water in light of the High temperatures.

According to the Tal Rifaat Water Committee, there are 3 drinking water sources in the city, with a capacity of about 4 tanks per day, and if one of them goes out of work, the pressure will remain on only two sources.
