Semalka administration: By fabricating accusations, it is intended to hide their practices and violations
The administration of the Semalka crossing confirmed that the administration of Faysh Khabur fabricates accusations and tries to cover up its practices and violations against the people of Rojava.
The official page of the Semalka crossing published a written statement, in which it responded to the recent statements of the Faysh Khabur crossing administration, the statement reads:
"At the beginning, we condemn the position of the officials of the KDP for its decision to close the Semalka crossing, which has been closed more than once under pretexts. We would like our people to know that they wanted to use this crossing as a pressure card and as a tool to break our will and impose their authority on us by extorting the need of the people of the region for this crossing.
Where they prevented the passage of our wounded, which led to the martyrdom of some of them as a result, and prevented the patriots from treatment under the pretext that they are against ENKS, and intelligence, security and incapacitating measures were imposed on those who wanted to go.
Despite this, we did not take any action in order not to harm the general public, and our constant request was to keep this issue away from political issues and to deal with it from a humanitarian standpoint only. Until now, we have not announced any time the closure of the crossing, as the closure is always from their side. and we reject the accusations mentioned in the statement of the Faysh Khabur administration, which accuses us of using the crossing to pass explosives, that we used this crossing only for humanitarian cases, and by fabricating accusations they want to hide their practices and violations against our people in Rojava.
Today millions of people are being punished by the KDP officials. The crossing from our side is open and there is no problem on our part. The one responsible for what is happening is the Faysh Khabur party, who wants to prevent the wounded and sick people and the passage of humanitarian cases and puts the crossing at the service of the ENKS leaders. Priority must be given to the wounded in order to pass and be treated."
