TEV-DEM: Situation in Afrin is catastrophic

The Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) affirmed that the situation in occupied Afrin is one of the worst humanitarian and catastrophic cases, called on the United Nations and human rights and humanitarian organizations to end the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands.

TEV-DEM issued a statement over the Turkish occupation state's mercenaries against a family in Janders, in occupied Afrin, on the eve of Newroz during lighting Newroz fire.

TEV-DEM emphasized that "the situation in occupied Afrin is one of the worst humanitarian conditions, catastrophic under the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, as the crimes committed are the best evidence, so we hold the Turkish fascist occupation state fully responsible."

The Movement called on "the United Nations and the relevant human rights and humanitarian organizations to speed up the intervention and carry out their moral and legal duty to protect the people of Afrin from mass massacres and the policy of extermination, and to work to end the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries from the entire Afrin region and the rest of the occupied Syrian regions."
