​​​​​​​Women's Office in TEV-DEM calls for escalation of struggle until the physical freedom of leader Ocalan

Women's Office of Democratic Society Movement, TEV-DEM, called on the humanitarian and human rights organizations concerned to disclose the health status of leader Ocalan, and to end the isolation imposed on him, and stressed, in a statement, the escalation of the struggle until the achievement of leader Ocalan physical freedom.

Today, the Women's Office of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) made a statement to the public opinion; Condemning the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanding his physical freedom.

The statement called on humanitarian and human rights organizations concerned to disclose the health status of leader Ocalan and end the isolation imposed on him "We, the women and the components of NE Syria, want to hear news about our leader or an explanation about the failure to disclose information regarding leader Ocalan condition and prevented him from meeting his lawyer and his family."

And the statement added, "We will not forget what the leader gave to women" and explained, "The leader's freedom is women's freedom, and the key to solving all issues and crises in the Middle East."

And the statement continued: "The Turkish state carries out inhumane practices through its psychological torture of the leader, we do not accept this systematic act that is contrary to Article No. 1 of the European Convention for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment 1989."

The statement touched on the need to expedite "taking measures under international law in order to ensure the strengthening of people's confidence in the international community, and international organizations should take the initiative to intervene and set conditions for the medical care of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The statement concluded by stressing the need to escalate the struggle until achieving the physical freedom of leader Ocalan "We will continue our struggle until we guarantee the physical freedom of leader Apo."
