​​​​​​​Angry protests in countryside of Daraa calling for "toppling of the regime", releasing detainees

 Hundreds of residents of the city of Jassim, in the countryside of Daraa, gathered in an angry demonstration.  In which they demanded the "toppling of the regime" and the "release of detainees" in the prisons of the Damascus government forces and the "expulsion of Iranian militias" from the region.

 This comes in light of the Damascus government's prevarication and failure to fulfill its promises since it made "settlements" in 2018.

 Daraa is witnessing a series of demonstrations in a number of cities and towns, such as Jassim, Al-Muzayrib, Ghabagheb, Al-Sanamayn, Dael, and Tal Shihab, in which the protests demand the "toppling of the regime" and "the release of detainees", amid the Damascus government's continued ignoring of the people's demands and the deterioration of their living conditions in all areas under its control.

 Observers warn of the Damascus government's continued intransigence and ignoring the real solution to the Syrian crisis, pointing out that the social situation there is close to exploding in light of hunger, poverty and economic collapse, and they did not rule out that this could cause new social explosions.
