SDC: tripartite meeting in Moscow targets interests of Syrians

On Friday, the Syrian Democratic Council issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the meeting that brought together the defense ministers of the occupied Turkish state and the Damascus government, under Russian auspices.

The statement condemned the continued shedding of Syrian blood by Turkish occupation and the tyrannical authority in Damascus."

It stressed, " our loyalty to the blood of the Syrian martyrs and the sufferings of the detainees, the displaced, and our commitment to the moral and historical responsibility towards the aspirations and dreams of the Syrian people, and our rejection of the attempts of the tyrannical regimes to stifle the breezes of freedom that blew from the people's chants since 2011 and their relentless pursuit to kill the dream before it is realized.

We appeal to our free Syrian people not to be negotiating cards in the hands of players who only care about their interests and the permanence of their powers and control.

The statement added, "The delicate and critical stage that the free Syrians project is going through in achieving freedom, dignity and democracy requires us to unite and transcend all the false differences."

The statement issued an appeal, "all free Syrians, when the future of our country and the dream of our freedom are at stake, all disagreements become treacherous luxury, every bowing to the other becomes subordination and treason."

In conclusion, the statement affirmed, "We in the Syrian Democratic Council declare that our hands are extended to every free Syrian who believes that the future of Syria and the freedom of its people have the highest priority over everything else, and that there is no interest or right above the interest and right of the Syrian people, and we call for confronting this coalition and its overthrow, and to unite the forces of the revolution and the opposition in the face of tyranny and the sellers of Syrian blood.
