Turkish occupation kills 61-year-old man in Ain Issa

On Saturday, a citizen from the eastern countryside of Ain Issa martyred of an injury he sustained over the bombing of the Turkish occupation while he was plowing his land.

On Saturday, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries bombed the villages adjacent to the contact lines in the countryside of Girê Spî Canton and Ain Issa district with heavy and light weapons, as a result, Saleh al-Ali al-Salama (61 years old), from the Albu Assaf clan, was martyred by shrapnel from a shell fired from the Turkish base in the village of Bir Issa while he was plowing his land.

The citizen is from the village of Al-Hawija, 7 km east of the town of Al-Hishah in Ain Issa district (15 km east of the district). He was buried in Bir Saran cemetery.

With the martyrdom of citizen Saleh Al-Salama, the number of martyrs and wounded increases since  occupation of Girê Spî Canton on October 9, 2019 to105 citizens, including 28 martyrs and 77 wounded.
