​​​​​​​SDF denies its responsibility of killing ISIS leader 

On Wednesday evening, a spokesman for ISIS mercenaries announced, in an audio recording broadcast by the mercenaries' accounts in the Telegram application, the death of their leader, "Abu al-Hassan al-Qurashi," without mentioning the manner and time of his death, and only indicating that he was killed during the battles.

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in a statement posted on the official website of the forces, indicated that they had nothing to do with the killing of "Al-Qurashi".

And the statement, which was published, stated: "Protecting our regions and people in North and East Syria from the Turkish aggression is the top priority of our forces at the present time, and despite that, our forces are striving with all their might to prevent an increase in the threat of ISIS, whether by directing organized pre-emptive strikes to prevent the terrorist organization from benefiting." One of the conditions created by the Turkish aggression, or by preventing its mercenaries from attacking the camps that contain his families, as well as the prisons.

Here, we declare that we have never participated in the process of killing the new leader of ISIS (Abu Al-Hassan Al-Qurashi) and we have nothing to do with his killing, directly or indirectly.

The leader of ISIS mercenaries, Abu al-Hassan al-Qurashi, took over the leadership of ISIS mercenaries after the killing of "Abdullah Qardash, or as he was known as Abu Ibrahim al-Qurashi, in an operation by the American forces in the occupied town of Atmeh by the Turkish occupation, during the month of February, and at that time US President Joe Biden thanked to the Syrian Democratic Forces to help them in killing the leader of ISIS mercenaries.

Qardash had also taken over the leadership of ISIS mercenaries after the killing of the mercenary leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, in a joint operation of the American forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces, on October 27, 2019. The Syrian Democratic Forces said in a press conference:

As a result of the sensitive and accurate joint work for more than 5 months between the military intelligence of the Syrian Democratic Forces (Ewlekarî) and the American forces, and in coordination at the highest levels, the head of the terrorist organization called "Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi" was eliminated in a joint operation today at dawn near a military base Turkish woman in the village of Barisha in the northern countryside of Idlib Governorate.
