Thousands lay martyr Mitan to rest... We to walk in footsteps of martyrs

 Today, thousands of Qamishlo residents laid martyr Kamal Muhammad Ali, the nickname Mitan Shorsh,  to rest. He was martyred in a Turkish drone attack on November 6, in the city of Qamishlo.

 At the shrine of the martyr Dalil Sarukhan in the city of Qamishlo, the ceremony began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech on behalf of the Council of Martyrs’ Families by a member of the Council, Shiro Muhammad, who offered condolences to the families of the martyr, and said: “The Turkish occupation will not stop fighting us and committing crimes against humanity. We sacrifice everything for our martyrs who were martyred in order to live in security and stability.

This was followed by a speech on behalf of the Military Council of Qamishlo canton by the leader, Nazir Sofi Abdullah, who condemned the silence of the international community regarding the ccrimesof the Turkish occupation state, while pointing to Turkey's use of prohibited weapons in front of the eyes of all the world.

 The leader Nazir renewed the vow to continue the path of the martyrs until victory is achieved and the occupation is defeated, and concluded by saying: “The families of the martyrs, all our people, our leader and our martyrs, our endeavor and our steps hand in hand and step by step from the thought, philosophy and will of our leader. We will struggle in the footsteps of the martyrs, until the Turkish occupation is defeated, and victory is achieved.”

 And the speech of the martyr's family was delivered by his uncle, Amer Bashar Ahmed, who expressed their pride in his martyrdom and continued: "We say to countries that claim to protect human rights and remain silent in the face of crimes,  that they are also participants in these crimes."

Ahmed emphasized that they will follow the path of martyrs and sacrifice for the sake of the homeland and the people.

 Then the Martyrs’ Families Council handed over the martyrdom document to the families of the martyr.”
