Explosions in the Sky of Damascus

Violent explosions were heard in scattered areas of the capital Damascus and its countryside on Monday afternoon, resulting from a new Israeli targeting of Damascus countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that violent explosions were heard in isolated areas of the capital Damascus and its countryside. On Monday afternoon, a result of a new Israeli targeting of Damascus countryside in which positions belonging to pro-Iranian groups and Damascus Government forces were targeted in the Dimas area and surrounding the western countryside of Damascus, Amid information about the targeting of other sites in Damascus countryside, with no information to date on the magnitude of the losses.

Al-Ikhbariyah Syrian Channel, said that preliminary information indicates that the explosions that were heard today in the sky of Damascus and its countryside were caused by an Israeli aggression.

Israel targets positions of the Damascus Government, which it says has Iranian troops and weapons, and despite the presence of sophisticated Russian air defence systems in Syria.
