HPG confirms that Turkish occupation shelled 36 times Resistance Squares with prohibited weapons

People's Defence Forces (HPG) said that on 14 October, the Turkish occupying state bombed the resistance arenas 36 times with prohibited weapons bombs and chemical weapons, twice with warplanes and 22 times with attack helicopters. HPG Media Centre issued a statement on operations and attacks, stating:

"Since the day the Turkish state, the war criminal, launched its occupation on Southern Kurdistan, Guerrilla Freedom of Kurdistan resists such attacks on squares. The Turkish occupation army, which could not break this resistance, began using prohibited bombs and chemical weapons violating all international laws. These war crimes have been documented, and since there has been insufficient reaction to these crimes, the Turkish state is encouraged by the support of NATO and continues its attacks with prohibited bombs and chemical weapons. "
