AANES: Turkey is trying to annex the occupied areas before the centenary of Lausanne Agreement

 The deputy co-chair of the Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Amina Ossi, said that Turkey is trying with all its capabilities to annex the occupied areas and include them on its map before the centenary of the Lausanne Agreement.

Amina Ossi condemned the international silence about the Turkish occupation of Syrian territories, and that on the third anniversary of the Turkish attack on the area of Serêkaniyê / Ras Al-Ain and Girê Spi /Tal Abyad

Turkey occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi district after an attack it launched on October 9, 2019, and since then Turkey has displaced 300,000 people.

, that the attack that was launched on Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî was aimed at occupying the entire Syrian border line with Turkey at a depth of 30 km.

She added "Turkey is seeking to achieve its ambitions in Syria, it promoting for the demographic change in the occupied areas under the pretext of the presence of Syrian refugees in it, in order to get rid of its economic crisis and apply demographic change, world public opinion when it turns a blind eye to Turkish attacks, it shows that they are convinced about these attacks."

Amina Ossi pointed to "the deterioration of the situation in the occupied areas, and said, "the reflection of the instability of occupied areas on other regions was obvious as a result of the deterioration of the situation in the occupied areas, whether from an economic side or encouraging some sleeper cells so that they keep in touch with their relatives and thus create instability in Autonomous Administration areas."

She continued: "the source of sleeper cells was from the occupied areas in Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and the orders came from there to strike stability and security, and the deterioration of the economic situation was encouraging the phenomenon of smuggling, in addition to the humanitarian situation and women in particular was negatively reflected on these areas".

Amina Ossi explained that " most of ISIS leaders after the liberation of Baghouz went to the occupied areas that became a safe place for them, and they were the cause of instability in the areas of north and east Syria and now they are playing the same role in the occupied areas under Turkish rule, Therefore, many of the operations they launched were directed by the leaders who fled to occupied areas in order to strike north and east Syria.

She pointed out that "Turkish occupation is pushing the indigenous people to be displaced from those areas, and this gives Turkey the opportunity to implement its project and settle Syrian refugees, and this achieves Turkey's goal of demographic change".

And stressed: "AANES' strategic goal is to liberate these areas from the mercenaries and Turkish occupation".

Amina Ossi stressed that Autonomous Administration believes in the sovereignty of Syrian territories and has fulfilled its duty towards this by fighting extremists, ISIS and any other aggression, pointing out that this is not the duty of Autonomous Administration areas only, but the duty of all Syrians.

At the end of her speech, she said: "the issue of changing the language and other practices indicates that Turkey is trying with all its capabilities before the centenary of Lausanne Agreement to include them in its new map, therefor, all Syrians should do everything against these ambitions that Turkey is seeking with all seriousness."

Lausanne Agreement was signed in 1923 between the Turkish fascist state and the dominant powers. The agreement came to consolidate the division of Kurdistan and the plan to exterminate the Kurds following the Sykes – Picot Treaty signed between England and France in 1916.
