​​​​​​​Noon initiative for Ocalan freedom decries international plot

The Noon Initiative for Ocalan's Freedom issued a statement coinciding with the anniversary of the international conspiracy against leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The text of the statement stated:

Once again, the painful memory of all of us, the twenty-fourth anniversary of the beginning of the threads of the international conspiracy, which were woven with the aim of kidnapping and arresting Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, the symbol of freedom and the Kurdish cause and the founder of the democratic nation project.

In 1998, the Turkish state began threatening its Syrian neighbor by launching a massive war against it, because of housing Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, and actually deployed its forces and military vehicles along the Turkish-Syrian border in preparation for war. However, Mr. Ocalan refused to be a reason or a pretext for launching a war that would not bring any benefit to the people.

We, in the name of the "Noon Initiative for Ocalan's Freedom", and from our podium, denounce this heinous conspiracy that robbed the leader of his bodily freedom, and its makers are systematically trying to foil his project based on democracy and peaceful coexistence between peoples and nations, and through his arrest, they seek to create an injustice inherited from generations, changing hatred In the hearts of the peoples of the Middle East, sectarianism is entrenched between the people of the region and the same country, and inciting discord to achieve the interests of capitalist countries that seek to colonize and enslave peoples and seize their wealth.

We also see that this international conspiracy has affected Mr. Ocalan because throughout his history of struggle he was known for his support for women, and for translating his strategic vision on the issue of women’s freedom into tangible steps and unprecedented progressive projects whose results are evident in the women’s revolution taking place in the Rojava region in north-eastern Syria. We are also convinced that Mr. Ocalan's philosophy regarding women constitutes the solid ground for formulating alternative solutions regarding women's issues and how to address them from the roots.

We stress once again that the time has come for this farce behind which the conspirators profit to stop, and that it is time for the masses to listen to the voice of truth and freedom by working together to release the leader Ocalan and restore his physical freedom that he was prevented of it for nearly a quarter of a century, in implementation of the principle of freedom and the principle of The justice advocated and stipulated by all international human rights covenants and conventions.
