Executive Council of Al-Jazira region denounces assassination of Co- chairs of Justice and Reform Office

The statement was read in front of the Executive Council headquarters in Amuda district of Qamishlo canton, by the co-chair of the council, Ahin Sweid, in the presence of all the bodies, offices and committees of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Jazira region.

The text of the statement stated:

"In a new brutal terrorist targeting, a Turkish drone targeted yesterday at exactly 1:50 p.m. a car belonging to the Autonomous Administration institutions, which was carrying the joint presidency of the Office of Justice and Reform Affairs in Al-Jazira region during a tour to inspect the reform and rehabilitation centers that contain thousands of terrorists ISIS, which led to their martyrdom.

Turkey also bombed during the evening hours the villages of Zarghan with heavy weapons, which led to death of two children, Rima Ahmed Ismail, 14, and Nayef Abdel Qader, 14, and wounding six others, including children and women.

These criminal acts are a continuation of the Turkish fascism’s war of extermination against the peoples of the region and its targeting of the Autonomous Administration institutions that seek and work to serve the peoples of the region, their stability and security, emptying the region of its original inhabitants and striking the Autonomous Administration project.

We in the Executive Council condemn and denounce these terrorist acts of the Turkish occupation, which are considered war crimes against humanity, and we hold the international community, the coalition and Russia responsible for Turkish massacres.

We appeal to them to take clear, deterrent stances against the attacks of the Turkish occupation.
