​​​​​​​Barkhdan criticizes international community's inaction to solve ISIS file during his meeting with a delegation from the Coalition

According to the official website of Syrian Democratic Forces, Mahmoud Barkhdan, a member of the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, reviewed with the delegations of the International Coalition to Combat ISIS and the US State Department, during their visit to the al-Hol camp, east of Hasaka, the camp's security and humanitarian reality and its future in light of the escalating threats of ISIS terrorist cells inside and outside the camp, that Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the International Coalition, started the second phase of "Humanity and Security" campaign to pursue these cells.

Barkhdan met the 2 delegations separately in the camp, headed by Brigadier General Karl Harris, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Combined Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve, and Nicholas Grenger, the High Representative of the United States of America in North and East Syria, where he assessed the current and expected dangers that the camp has become in light of international inaction, and not respond to the calls of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in addressing these concerns and resolving this issue, especially with the lack of adequate support for the administration's efforts and the failure of countries to evacuate their nationals.

Barkhdan also mentioned the efforts and sacrifices made by the security and military forces to prevent the situation in the camp from getting worse, and to thwart many attempts of terrorist cells to attack it from the inside and outside, especially during the attack on Al-Snaa prison.

For their part, the 2 delegations affirmed their continued support for the Syrian Democratic Forces in the fight against terrorism, and their support for the efforts of the Internal Security Forces in NE Syria in eliminating ISIS cells in the camp, and their support for the "Humanity and Security" campaign.
