"Humanity and Security" Campaign... Renewing the data and records of Iraqi refugees

The "Humanity and Security" campaign launched by the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria, after it began this morning, continues to update the data and records of Iraqi refugees living in the first sector of the camp, which was targeted by the sweep campaign.

Internal Security Forces, with the support of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People's Protection Units and Women (YPG, YPJ), launched a security operation and a sweep against the cells of ISIS/Daesh mercenaries, who have recently been active after threats by the Turkish occupation state to launch an attack on the area, and this is the second phase of the security operation launched by the Internal Security Forces.

The Internal Security Forces began their first security activities inside al-Hol Camp, the most dangerous camp in the world, by combing the first sector designated for Iraqis, tent by tent, to search and investigate ISIS/Daesh mercenary cells, and operations to restore security and safety to that sector are still continuing.

Al-Hol Camp consists of 8 main sectors, inhabited by more than 54,390 people, including Syrians, Iraqis and foreigners, wives and children of ISIS/Daesh mercenaries. To complete the security measures for this operation, the administration of al-Hol Camp is supervising the renewal of data and records of Iraqi refugees living in the first sector of the camp.

According to the supervisors, the purpose of renewing the database of camp residents are to determine the numbers and nationality of those present to facilitate the process of organizing the camp better in the future, and it will continue until the campaign is completed.
