Interior Council: Kurdish commander martyred in the Qamishlo attack

The Interior Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Jazeera Region held a press conference in front of the council`s bulding in Qamishlo city regarding the recent attacks by the Turkish occupation state against entire North and East Syria.

The co-chairs of the Inerior Council of the Jazeera region, Kenan Barakat and Hamrin Ali read the statement in Arabic and Kurdish.

The statement is as follows:

Within the framework of the declared war and the systemic and continuous escalation carried out by the Turkish regime on the regions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, they aim at destabilizing the safety and stability in the region, and spreading terror and fear between our nation with all its components, targeting the region`s peace, and emptying the region and then displacing the residents from it.

It is not a secret to anyone that the fascist Turkish regime aims behind its aggressive campaign to undermine the gains and achievements that have been made by thousands of martyrs` blood, to undermine the resolve of the Syrian Democratic Forces which defeated the terrorism represented by ISIS and Jabht Al-Nusra and other dark forces that Turkey provides them with all kinds of support, and this is what it know, the International Guarantor  Forces  in North and East Syria, which have not yet shown a responsible attitude towards the terrible and grave violations of the Turkish occupation state, which always undermines the fight against terrorism and its cells and reactivates it anew by all ways.

Where Turkish occupation escalated its targeting and violations, which are repeated on a daily and intense basis, including the targeting that happened yesterday on northern  Al-Hazam road in Qamishlo city, which resulted in 4 being martyred and a number being injured. Also, the last targeting that happened in Al-Sinaa neighborhood in Qamishlo city, where the bombing by a UAV resulted in several civilians being injured and martyred in that brutal attack. Their names are (Shamdeen Shamdeen, Mazloum Assad, and the 2 children Ahmad Shaibi and Aheng Shaibi).

Among the injured who were taken to the hospital to receive necessary treatment, and after all efforts to save the lives of the injured was made, was one of the leadership members of the Free Life Party of Kurdistan (PJAK), Mr. Youssef Mahmoud Rabbani, who was martyred. He was on a visit to the regions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, to conduct meetings with the people and take a look at the gains of July 19th revolution. As well as working to bring the views between the general nation of Kurdistan in its four parts.

Due to this national loss of our resistant people, we wish our condolences to the family of the martyr and all the people of Kurdistan, especially Eastern Kurdistan.

We, in the Interior Council of Al-Jazira region, condemn and denounce these immoral acts contrary to the principles of humanity, and we appeal to all of our struggling nation to show the spirit of resistance and act along the principles of People`s Revolutionary War. Also to unite around your military forces and the Autonomous Administration and to be aware of the ways of special warfare that the enemy uses to undermine the will of our nation with all its components.

The Interior Council sees the guarantor states from the ceasefire agreement, especially Russia and the International Coalition in the struggle against terrorism, as resposible for this war. We know very well that the Turkish occupatoin state are committing crimes against our people in the framework of carrying out their own special interests. Therefore, we call on relevant international organizations such as the UN and the UN Security Council and human rights organizations to do their duty towards our people and forces who fought against ISIS instead of the world and to impose a no-fly zone in the region."
