Students at University of Bremen sends support message to Rojava University students

Students at the University of Bremen sent a message of support to the students at the Rojava University. The message says:

“The attack against your university during the Women`s Revolution Forum where you participated, leaves us speachless. We are left speachless, sad and furious. Jiyan Tolhildan`s speech at the women`s forum on the 10th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution affected us deeply. The least thing we can do is to spread her words to the outside and make it known who ended her life; The colonialist Turkish state carried out an obvious patriarchal attack. The aim of this attack was to destroy the heart of the revolution and the struggle for a free society.

With this attack, they wanted to block the goal of free exchange of ideas at Rojava University and speak the language of terrorism.

We can not imagine what kind of situation you are in now and we offer you our deepest condolences. You are all in our hearts and minds.

We are grateful that we had the opportunity to exchange words during this period and we were able to learn a lot from you on this occasion. We want to convey our message of support to you. You are not alone. You are fighting for a free society. Your are carrying out a struggle for the freedom of us all. We respect and honor your courage and strength.

We declare our solidarity and support for you, our fellow students and the society in Rojava, in addition to Jiyan Tolhildan, Roj Khabour, Barin Botan and all the martyrs”
