As a result of the bombing of the Umm al-Kif village, west of the district, by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, the electricity transmission station went out of service, after the occupation targeted the 66 kV line feeding the station, which led to a power outage in the center of Tal Tamr and its countryside.

The Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries have directly targeted high-voltage networks, the power transmission station and its lines, about 30 times since October 2019.

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries are bombarding the village of Umm al-Kif with artillery and mortar shells.
