Family of leader Ocalan and his client in Imrali submits a request to PPO of Bursa to meet with them

 The brother of leader Abdullah Ocalan, Mehmet Ocalan, his client Mazloum Deng and the relatives of other prisoners in Imrali, the brother of Omar Khairy Konar, Ali Konar, the brother of Hamili Yildirim, Polat Yildirim and the sister of Wisei Aktas, Meliha Cetin applied to the Republican Prosecutor’s Office in the Turkish city of Bursa for  meeting with their families, in addition to submitting a request to the Imrali prison administration.

 In order to meet the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, his lawyers submit two requests per week to these institutions, as these requests remain systematically without a response.

 Sometimes, after months of submitting these requests, they are rejected on various grounds, and that a meeting ban has been imposed on their client.

 Recently, the head of the Disciplinary Board in Imrali Prison issued a disciplinary penalty on May 31, banning meetings for a period of three months, on Commander Abdullah Ocalan and the other prisoners.  That they are not informed about such penalties and said it is against the law.
