The Women`s Forum has started

The Women`s Revolution Forum is being held in the auditorium at the University of Rojava in Qamishlo. The Forum is being organized by: Kongra Star, Syrian Women`s Council, North East Syria Women`s Council, Jineology Academy, the Syriac Women`s Union, Zenoubian Woman`s Assembly and the Women`s Defence Units(YPJ).

Several politicans, diplomats, academics, law professors and commanders participate in the forum: Ramziye Muhammed from the coordination of Kongra Star, member of the co-chairmanship board of Democratic Union Party(PYD) Foza Yousif, Hevi Mustaffa co-chair of the Interior Council of North and East Syria, PYD co-chair Asya Abdullah, Rojda Dendar from Brazil and several others from the Middle-East also participate online.

The Forum will continue for 2 days. On the second day, two sessions will be held. The first one will evaluate the 10 years of the women`s revolution. The second session will discuss the role of YPJ in the defense and progress of the revultion, the situation of the women in occupied territories and their resistance. 

On the second day, there will be held workshops on the following topics "Women's progress in changing and transforming society" and "Women's struggle in political and legal fields" and "What do we need to protect and promote women's rights" and " Development of women's economy against poverty policy".
