Fatima Al-Bio, displaced from the occupied city of Serêkaniyê, now lives with her family in Washokani camp, 12 km west of the city center of Al-Hasaka, said that Eid has no meaning for us now, we used to receive Eid in Serêkaniyê with great joy.

Fatima has one wish, which is to return to her city after expelling the occupiers from it.

Israa Ahmed is also an immigrant from Serêkaniyê. She agreed with Fatima that they used to visit the martyrs’ shrines and cemeteries in Serêkaniyê during Eid, the real joy is the celebration between relatives away from the occupation.

The immigrant Jassim Samaou, who lives in Washoe Kani camp, says that "the fascist Erdogan and his mercenary are the reason for our crisis."

Samou spoke about the harmony of the components in Serekaniye before the occupation, "The Eid in Serekaniye had another meaning because all the components of the city were one family coexisting with each other and during the holidays they exchanged visits."

Regarding their wishes for the coming of Eid, the immigrant Abdul Rahim al-Shaaban from Girê Spi said, "My wish is that peace will prevail all over the world, the real Eid is withdrawal of the Turkish occupier from our land.

" The joy will remain absent from us until withdrawal of the Turkish occupier who has desecrated our land," said the displaced Zughira al-Hamad, and called on the displaced from Idlib, Aleppo and Damascus not to submit to Turkey's plans to resettle them in NE Syria at the expense of the original people of the region.

Worth to note that Girê Spî camp established by the Autonomous Administration on November 22, 2019, near the village of Tal al-Saman in the northern countryside of Raqqa, includes 6443 displaced persons, distributed among 1254 families.
