Damascus government forces target northern and southern Idlib countryside

On Wednesday, Damascus government forces targeted areas in the northern countryside of Idlib with mortar shells, and also bombed areas in Jabal Al-Zawiya in its southern countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored ground bombardment, carried out by Damascus government forces, this afternoon, Wednesday, targeting areas in the town of Maarat al-Naasan, north of Idlib, where mortar shells fell on the area, without information about casualties.

It also bombed after midnight places in Al-Fateera and Felifel in Jabal Al-Zawiya, in the southern countryside of Idlib, and no injuries were reported.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory monitored mutual targeting with heavy machine guns, between the mercenaries of "Al-Fateh Al-Mubin" on one side, and the forces of the Damascus government on the other, on the Al-Mashrie axis in Al-Ghab Plain in the north-western Hama countryside. Places in Al-Fateera, Felifel, Sufuhan and Benin within Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, without any news of casualties, this coincided with an intense hovering of Russian UAVs over Jabal Al-Zawiya and the Al-Ghab Plain.
