This came during a statement published by national forces and Syrian public figures and signed by our agency, and obtained by our agency from the official page of the joint president of the Syrian Democratic Council, Riad  Dirar, on the virtual network "Facebook".

The signatories to the statement called for a delinquency to peace, dialogue, understanding and adherence to international laws from international law to human rights regulations.

They stressed that any war of Turkey against the Syrian north is considered a threat, and they continued, "Our country is now under an imminent danger that may make it impossible dream, if the Turkish government implements its threats and launches its military operation or its fifth war in the north to complete what it calls" the safe zone.

At the beginning of the statement, the statement said, " Syria, has been subjected to multiple blows in the past decade, which have brought us to the state of the catastrophe that we are currently living in: killing and crippling at least one million male and female citizens, hundreds of thousands of detainees, the missing, and the displacement of half of the population, to a fragile and failed state, divided and almost disintegrated with all its components.

Our country is now threatened by an imminent danger that may end it and make it a difficult and perhaps impossible dream, if the Turkish government implements its threats, and launches its military operation or its fifth war in the north to complete what it calls the "safe zone", which extends along the border with a depth of 30 km, including - then -  All the cities and towns are there, most of which adjoin that border line.

It continued, "There is a good understanding of the Turkish concern for "national security" from the friends and opponents of the Turkish government in Syria as it is in Turkey, a demand that everyone sees can be achieved through dialogue and negotiation, to dispel concerns and develop guarantees for all. We do not see in attempts to beat the drums of war.  Resolving the issue through violence and by means of it only exacerbates and establishes a state of hostility that Syrians of all affiliations do not want: the refugees, among them, who have been welcomed by Turkey as a people and government for them, and they have been doing everything well since they arrived, fleeing from the massacres of the tyrannical regime and its absolute violence; or the rest in the north of the country as Arabs  whether they were Kurds, Syriacs, Turkmens, or otherwise.

The Syrian forces and personalities referred to the plan to return refugees by Turkey and stressed that it would exacerbate the social contradictions in Syria close to the border: “The implementation of the announced plan to return hundreds of thousands of refugees and refugee women and resettle them at the borders in improvised housing complexes will not have the effect that the Turkish government primarily seeks because it will exacerbate the social contradictions in Syria close to the borders, and repeat experiments of demographic change that have become history, and it cannot be repeated due to the disasters it has caused, whose effects the world is still shaking.”

While they called for dialogue and adherence to international laws from international law to reach a secure and civilized future: “We call for delinquency towards peace, dialogue and understanding and adherence to international laws from international law to human rights regulations. This is the right way to solve the Kurdish question through Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue.  And Kurdish-Arab and Kurdish-Turkish, which is also true and also for resolving the Syrian issue; rather, it is the only possible way to any safe and civilized future.”

They concluded their statement: “We, the signatories, from national forces and public figures: We demand the Turkish government to retreat from the path of war and destruction;  The catastrophe afflicting our country.
