 During a meeting held today, Ilham Ahmed affirmed their insistence on dialogue to resolve the Syrian crisis, revealing a diplomatic movement to prevent a new Turkish attack on the region, but she stressed, "If war is imposed on us, we must resist it."

 The meeting was attended by dozens of women in Raqqa, members of civil and military institutions, educators and members of the Syrian Democratic Council, and the CEO of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed.

 The CEO of the Syrian Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, who said, “Recently, the frequency of the Turkish occupation’s attacks on our areas has increased, threatening to invade directly. There are diplomatic moves by the SDF, SDC and the administration with Russia, America and the concerned countries.”

 Ilham Ahmed added, "The responses of the countries, rejecting the attacks, and stressed that" any attack poses a danger to the region in general, and any attack creates an opportunity to reproduce ISIS again."

 She pointed out, "Al-Hol camp has approximately 70,000 families of ISIS members in addition to other camps, and there are prisons containing ISIS elements, and any attack on our areas does not only cause danger to us, but will directly endanger international security, and this is what we are constantly talking about."

 She added, "Today, it is Turkey that threatens the Syrian national security and the Syrian people through the demographic change that it is carrying out through the settlement of refugees, and it is expected that some of them do not hold Syrian citizenship."

 She continued her speech by saying, "If Turkey is serious about returning refugees, it must return everyone to their original cities and towns, but we know that its intention is not right with the Syrian people, and it is carrying with it a policy of occupation through these projects."

 She stressed that the Syrian Democratic Council supports any comprehensive political solution to return the refugees to their original homes and build a new Syria, "and we are not with operations of demographic change and forced displacement against the Syrian people."

 She indicated, "Turkey does not mean only the Syrian Democratic Forces in its campaign, but rather targets the popular incubator for this project and does not differentiate between an Arab and a Kurdish. Today, the forces of the so-called opposition have become more opposed to the SDF than the regime, and this indicates their followers of the Turkish occupation agendas."

 Elham Ahmed noted, "The Justice and Development Party seeks to gain power at the expense of the Syrian people, in addition to expanding the new Ottoman Empire at the expense of the Syrian land. We have to find a solution to the Syrian crisis because most of the international initiatives working to solve the Syrian crisis have been suspended, although the solution is limited to the constitutional committee, this is a wrong actions.”

 She stressed, "The situation in Syria is still dispersed and divided in terms of opinion and even territory, and we must find understandings between the Syrians, and these are considered challenges today.  We want to preserve the security, stability and lives of 5 million people from the cultural and social side."

 And Ilham Ahmed confirmed, "If war is imposed on us, we must resist as much as we can conclude agreements and talks between countries to prevent any attack on the region, and we are not a state.  NATO countries and this is proof of the strength of our people."

 Ilham Ahmed stressed, "For all women working in the region in all institutions, we must build a new society and strive to protect our dignity, and to be able to build childhood and society and be strong."

 Ilham Ahmed stressed that the Syrian Democratic Forces have become a difficult number internationally and regionally that no one can surpass in resolving the Syrian crisis or defending Syria, adding, "We have a project we are working on to build a new, democratic Syria for all Syrians, and we are continuing to build it."

 Regarding the solutions that some parties seek, Ilham Ahmed said, "All the solutions that have been proposed to this day are patchwork solutions, and there will be no new solutions by all parties."  We are trying to reach through our meetings and meetings to prevent this."

 At the conclusion of her speech, Ilham Ahmed said, "The regime alone is unable to take a decision, and we are open to the Syrian dialogue, but there are parties that are unable to take their decisions alone, as it has become an agenda for Turkey."

 The meeting concluded with many questions and interventions by the participants in the meeting focused on the Syrian crisis and were answered by members of the Court.
