Thousands of people marched in Istanbul to lift the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan on the 12th of June, where they chanted in the neighborhoods and streets of Istanbul with slogans calling "Long live leader Apo - a thousand greetings to Imrali", while the Turkish police attacked Kemlik's march and arrested 33 people, including politicians and co-chairs of the HDP branches, democratic organizations and revolutionary parties.

Uca said, "As you know, the Kemlik march was organized, and the Turkish authorities tried to obstruct it and besiege the participants, however they were unable to prevent the crowd from conveying their message that isolation is not only in Imrali, but in Turkish society as well.

Uca added, "The Turkish authorities used all methods of repression in arresting parliamentarians and attacking protesters.

Uca also touched on Turkish police brutality against women and parliamentarians, by saying: "All attacks targeted the woman's personality in the first place, and targeted the woman's thought and obliterated her will. Despite this, women did not retreat for a moment from their goals".

Uca appealed to the Kurdish people, European consulates and the Committee against Torture to break their silence and continue their attempts to open the doors of Imrali, and said: "Under the banner of the "Time for Freedom" campaign, we will continue our activities, with Mr. Ocalan peace will come, and therefore democratic changes will be discussed, not Turkey’s war policies, so it is very important to continue these activities.”

The parliamentarian of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), Felek Naz Uca, called on the Kurdish people to strengthen their organization and said: “Turkey targets parliamentarians in the HDP and the democrats as a result of its political failure, it bans the HDP in Turkey, and threats NE Syria, and Başûr, so to thwart these plans, resistance and struggle must be continued.
