​​​​​​​TEV-DEM: Our efforts must be reinforced to protect gains, values

On Wednesday, the Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM issued a written statement urging the people of the region and the democratic forces in the world to confront the plans of ethnic genocide led by the Turkish occupation state against the region.

The statement reads:

The attention of the international community has recently been directed towards the insistence of the Turkish fascist government to launch military operations against the will of the peaceful peoples in north and east Syria, who defended themselves and protected their values ​​and culture in the face of terrorism to live in peace, security and stability, without threat or prejudice to the borders of any other country.

However, the Turkish occupation state insists on occupying more of our lands and making it an arena of terrorism and mercenary, bloody tendencies and conflicts and a test field for the use of internationally prohibited weapons, under the pretext of protecting its national security, to pass its settlement project through building settlements, and to revive its dangerous terrorism.

We at TEV-DEM urge all components in the region to show a spirit of moral and patriotic responsibility. We are facing a new phase of fate. Let us mobilize all our energies to protect our values ​​and gains in the spirit of the people’s revolutionary war, because it is the real guarantee to confront the policies of extermination and ethnic cleansing and any Turkish fascist attack on our will and the occupation of other parts of our regions.

We also appeal to all democratic forces, civil society organizations and human rights organizations concerned with women's and children's affairs in the region and the world to feel responsible and carry out their moral duties to provide moral and moral support and assistance to our resistance, and to express positive attitudes in the face of the Ottoman plans.
