NES trio meeting on recent developments concluded

The trio meeting which was held in the city of Hasaka to discuss latest military, political, economic and service developments amid the Turkish threats against the region came to an end.

The two- day meeting which was held between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Syrian Democratic Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the city of Hasaka.

Top on the table was the latest threats made by the Turkish occupation state of a new military incursion against the region and the ways to stand up to that. At the end of the second day of the meeting a statement was made.

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, shed light on the international circumstances and the latest escalation by the Turkish occupation state against the North eastern Syria areas; Zarghan, Tal Tamr, Kobane, Manbij and Shahba were all open to shelling carried out by the Turkish occupation state and the mercenary groups. SDF made it clear that Turkish occupation state tries to exploit the contradictions in the international policies. Syrian Democratic Forces General Command confirmed its readiness to stand up to any aggression against the region and that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a long term resistance in case of any attack against the region.

The attendees affirmed that any military operation by Turkey is a condemned one proper and that it would be carried out with the aim of annexation of other Syrian territories and occupation. The statement said such an operation would cause another humanitarian crisis. the attendees warned that such an operation would subvert the efforts exerted by Syrian Democratic Forces to continue its campaigns against terror. It said that the preoccupation of SDF with another military front with Turkey would pave the way for the ISIS terrorist group to activate its cells endanger the international peace and security anew.

Any military operation by Turkey into the region would make the region a field of polarization that would magnate all radical elements not to mention the destructive effects of such an operation on the humanitarian situation and would cause a catastrophe and a real plight and a new phase of civilian IDPs from the region, and would complicate the humanitarian circumstances at large in the region. That would abort seeks to find a solution to the crisis in the country.

The statement made it clear that it is the duty of the Syrian army to stand up to such threats and attacks as the danger is against the unity of Syrian territories at large and not NES.     

Mazloum Abdi and Newroz Ahmed of Syrian Democratic Forces, the SDF, Abu Khawlaeh, Commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council, Bandar Himeidi Daham al-Hadi, Commander of the Sandadid Forces, and Riyadh Derar and Amina Umar of the Syrian Democratic Council all attended the meeting.

Berivan Khaled, Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and Deputy Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Mamdan al-Ebid, in addition to members of the Relations Committee in the SDC also attended the meeting.
