Jurist: world accomplice to Turkey's use of chemicals

Day after another horrific crimes are revealed in the Medya Defense Zones Southern Kurdistan  as the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation state against the guerrilla fighters are on the rise and massacres committed against the Kurds everywhere amid an international silence.

Jurist Mustafa Muslim spokesperson for the Lawyers Union in the Euphrates Region said: the use of chemical weapons by the Turkish occupation state against the guerrilla fighters on Mount Kurdistan is a hard proof of the failure it meets and its impotence to make any gains on the ground''.

Mustafa went on to say '' the world is an accomplice to the Turkish occupation state via the silence prevails towards the use of chemical weapons against the guerrilla fighters and it gives a blind eye to those using chemical weapons if that appeases its agendas. What had happened in Syria  still happens on mountains of Kurdistan. This is a hard proof''.

Mustafa said ''nothing takes place without the prior okay of the international community. What Turkey does is okay behind curtains. What is committed of massacres against the Kurds in Kurdistan reveals the international contradictions that parasites on the Kurdish question. This brings into memory the Halabja Massacre which took the lives of 5 thousand martyrs at the hands of the Saddam Husein regime''.

Muslim said the place of chemical makes no difference whether in Syrian or in Kurdistan, they are the same. The user is a criminal. It ought receive punishment. But there are differences. For this the world keeps silent the one that gives it green light, '' in the Syrian case, the world move to hold Syrian regime accountable, and those targeted areas were visited but on Kurdistan mountains the Kurds are open to chemical weapons with no finger lifted''.

General Command of Peoples' Defense Centre, the NPG, issued a statement to the public opinion late in 2021 it confirmed that the Turkish occupation  state used chemical weapons some 367 times and carried out 436 katyusha and mortar attacks in addition to 2025 aerial raids against the guerrilla fighters in Medya Defense Zones in 2021.

At the end of his speech Mustafa called on all those having conscious to take action and to reveal the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation state against the peoples of the region   and in particular against the Kurdish people via the brutal machine of the Turkish armed forces.

Mustafa confirmed '' there is a big role that shoulders activists and lawyers to document these massacres that are committed by chemical weapons to file complaints with evidences and testimonies of the locals living in those areas. ''
