Today, the co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in Manbij and its countryside, Rabie Ezz El-Din, read the statement in front of the council building in the city, in the presence of council members, martyrs' families and representatives from civil and military institutions in Manbij.

The statement stated: "The policy of the Turkish occupation state has become clear to the world in restoring the Ottoman Empire again and impose its hegemony on the region, so its always striving to destabilize the security and stability of the region through its interference in the affairs of neighboring countries

The statement added, "Turkey threats to launch an operation in NE Syria that is nothing but evidence of its greed and malicious policy in occupying new Syrian lands, and changing its identity under the false pretext of establishing a "safe zone." As happened in the occupied territories (Afrin, Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ain) through demographic change processes."

The statement called on the international community, human rights, civil organizations and the honorable to prevent these violations under the pretext of its "national security".

The statement concluded: "We assure our forces that we will be with them side by side in protecting our land and our gains until victory is achieved over terrorism and all aggressors, and the return of security and stability to our entire land and people."
