The Turkish occupation state is constantly threatening to launch an attack against NE, Syria, with the aim of striking the social fabric experienced by the peoples of the region, targeting all its components and striking national cohesion, under the pretext of protecting their national security.

The sheikhs and dignitaries of Arab clans in the city of Manbij and its countryside denounced these threats. The Sheikh of the Bani Saeed clan, Fahd Al-Shalash, said: "The Turkish state, through its attacks and threats, is targeting the region and the unity of its components, not just the Kurdish people."

Fahd added: "The Turkish occupier wants to strike the cohesion of the components with each other in north and east Syria, destabilize security and stability in it, create a state of chaos and displace its indigenous people."

He continued, "We, the sheikhs and dignitaries of the tribes in Manbij, demand the United Nations, especially the countries guarantor of the ceasefire in the region, to put an end to these barbaric Turkish attacks and threats on our regions and our city Manbij, and we pledge that we will stand united with the military forces, and we will not allow the Turkish occupier to occupy more from our lands.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammad Sadeq Al-Asidi, the sheikh of the Al-Bunni Asidi clan, stressed that “the Turkish threats and violations do not target the Kurdish people only, but affect all spectrums and components in the region,” explaining that “the city of Manbij constitutes a huge human reservoir, and the occupation attacks will constitute a real and major humanitarian disaster.”

At the end of his speech, Al-Asidi condemned the international silence about the Turkish occupation state targeting the region and displacing its people.

As for Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Yas, from the Al-Bo Sultan clan in Manbij, he pointed out that the goal of the Turkish occupation state is to occupy more Syrian lands, and said: “We are the Arab component against the occupation of our areas, which we liberated with the blood of our martyred sons, and we will not abandon them.”

He stressed that they stand with their military forces that liberated them from the abomination of ISIS mercenaries' terrorism, and said: "Turkey was supporting them in their oppression of our people and our regions during their control of our Syrian cities, and if there was a Turkish military operation against our regions, we would all turn into fighters to defend our country and our regions."

He concluded his speech by saying: "The peoples of the region have coexisted since ancient times with each other, and Turkish threats and attacks will not be feared."
