The international community does not recognize the AANES in northern and eastern Syria, despite all the sacrifices made by its components in terms of political, military and service achievements, in addition to the coexistence of its components.

In this regard, the Vice-President of the General Council in the AANES, Yasser Al-Sulaiman, said in a statement to our agency that "the recognition of the AANES in north and east Syria is a guarantee of the rights of the components of the peoples of the region, these ancient and authentic components that are an integral part of the Syrian people."

He added, "Since the spark of the revolutionary movement in Syria, the Syrian people have paid a heavy price, as well as the components of of North and East Syriathat worked to organize their ranks, preserve the gains, and protect institutions and facilities in light of the chaos that afflicted Syria."

The AANES of 6 million people must be recognized

Al-Sulaiman added, "From a subjective standpoint and out of awareness of the components of northern and eastern Syria, the AANES of the region arose, which includes in its sides nearly 6 million people, residents and IDPs, and from this region these components joined forces and fought extremism that destroyed the infrastructure and tore the social fabric."

Al-Sulaiman continued, "The international community, which was a partner in fighting extremism in the region, should have taken the initiative to recognize the AANES to guarantee the rights of the components that were partners in the war and in the reconstruction and construction."

He stressed that "the areas of the AANES in of North and East Syriaare an integral part of the Syrian land, and in light of this uncreative chaos, the international community had to recognize the AANES, because recognition of it is a source of strength for the peoples and components of this region and for all the people of Syria."

He pointed out that "the AANES adopts the democratic approach with its people and components and does not attack the neighboring peoples, but we stand in the face of the policies of the regimes that are hostile to the components of the region and our people, and which are trying to change the region demographically to serve their agendas and achieve their ambitions."

Al-Sulaiman explained, "The force of the AANES is from the strength of Syria, and it stands in the face of any attack on the Syrian territories, because its concern is to preserve the unity of Syria and the integrity of its lands and components, and to secure a decent life for Syria in general."

Al-Sulaiman also pointed out that "the AANES has strong military forces, councils, administrations and civil institutions, and its recognition strengthens Syria in general, and stands as a strong shield to repel any aggression, whether it is from the Turkish regime or from other regimes that are trying to implement their agendas in the region. Recognition is a source  Strength for all Syrians.

Without the participation of the AANES, there will be no solution to the crisis

Al-Sulaiman said, "Any exception to the AANES and its components in any negotiations to resolve the Syrian crisis will only succeed with the participation of the AANES, and it cannot solve the problem of a homeland, and there is an exception for a large part of its components, and the AANES and its components must participate in any solution to the Syrian crisis, and it is necessary to  From changing the mentality of the parties on Syrian soil in order to accept the other and in order to reach a comprehensive settlement for all Syrians, in order to rebuild and return the displaced, and to build a strong democratic Syria to protect its borders and people.

Al-Sulaiman considered that the international community is negligent towards the AANES, as it was and still is a strong and honest partner in combating extremism and restoring peace and stability, "but it did not provide sufficient support from the International Assembly of AANES."

At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Sulaiman said, "The international community should look at the AANES as a realistic situation that brought the Syrians together, provided services as possible to all residents, expatriates and the people of the region, and did its best to support stability. But the challenges are great and the difficulties are great, and the world must support  Self-administration in its just cases and not to stand idly by towards successive threats from the Turkish occupying state.
