The Furat news agency published the confessions of an intelligence cell affiliated with the Turkish occupation, confirming that the explosives and the financing were coming from Turkey through the occupied areas.

Mustafa Mohammad al-Mahmoud from Girê Spi/ Tal-Abyed, member of the intelligence who brings explosives from the occupied areas in order to detonate electricity and water stations, says that through “Abu Asaad” who is in the occupied areas, he was dealing with a person in the intelligence known as Abu Khattab al-Wardawi, Abu Assad Bashar Mohammad al-Salem and a member of the Intelligence are responsible for the bombings at the electricity and water stations in the city of Raqqa.

Blow up the irrigation canal and the power station

Mustafa Mohammad confessed to the terrorist attack on the power station and said: “When Bashar came to me, he asked me what we would do, I told him that we would blow up the power station in exchange for 15 thousand dollars. One night, at eleven o’clock we went to the station. The process of planting explosives at the station to be detonated from a distance. We did the detonation in the early hours of the morning and filmed the scenes of the bombing. When I arrived at the house, where it was one o’clock, I watched the Internet, Abu Asaad was calling me, and he was angry at me and said, “Because the pictures are not clear, we won't get the money."

Mustafa Mohammad explained that they carried out the second operation against the irrigation canal in Raqqa and said: “After two days, they told me that they would introduce me to a person where you will work together. Hassan and Abdel Halim came and had explosives in their possession. The three of us went in the middle of the night and planted the explosives in the irrigation canal, Hassan. Abu Mouss carried out the bombing and Abdel Halim filmed the scene, and in exchange for this operation, the intelligence gave me $500.

Sequential operations

Mustafa Mohammad admitted that, according to the orders that came to us from the occupied areas, they carried out successive explosions in the city of Raqqa against the agricultural irrigation station in Rifa’a and said: “In our third operation, our target was the irrigation station in Rifa’a, this time Bashar and I went, after we brought the explosives from Bashar’s house, we planted it and detonated it, and in exchange for this operation, the intelligence gave us $200. Abu Khattab contacted us again after several days and ordered us to detonate a pipe outside the station. It was 5:30, where we planted the explosives and detonated them.”

Turkey was the one who owned the operations

Mustafa Mohammad stated that they tried to carry out attacks against the administrators of the Education Committee and the notables of the clans, and said: “Abu Khattab sent us four mines, which we hid in one of the orchards, in the middle of the night Bashar came to me and gave me four narcotic pills, after which I did not get any information from him, this time Abu Khattab contacted me and a person named Mohammad, and they introduced me to a person named Mohammad Saeed, who previously worked with the Free Syrian Army, this time they asked us to burn a car, we were going to burn the car of the administrator in the Training Committee, in the meantime, he sent me 300 dollar from Turkey, and then they told me that the car of the chief of the Hewewat Clan would be burned. Ahmed Saeed had brought gasoline and narcotic pills with him, and as a result of taking those pills he lost consciousness.”
