Peoples of the region notably Kurds and Arabs face threats more specifically by the Turkish state to occupy more lands in Syria, Iraq and Southern Kurdistan.

In this relation, many Kurdish and Arab intellectuals and politicians call for creation of a joint front to stand up to these threats and challenges the last of which was days ago in a conference held in Beirut.

To shed  light on the issue ANHA met Salah Abu Shaqra who said: in the actual reality, there is a necessity for the Kurdo-Arab cooperation that serves both peoples. From one hand, the Kurds have the right to a dignified living and proper citizenship on equal terms with other citizens in the Arab countries''.

Abu Shaqra told ANHA '' it goes into the interest of Arabs that Kurds get their rights to avert the scenarios took place in 19602 and 1970s of struggles in Northern Iraq and what is being taking place in North and East Syria. If both Iraq and Syria want to life in peace and security they ought to give the Kurds their rights via wide autonomies that amounts to independence in Northern Iraq''.

Abu Shaqra went on to say '' when the referendum was carried out the mass majority supported the independence, this serves Iraq to stop wars. The Kurds played a main role in combating the takfiri forces represented by ISIS and the Nusra Front. When the Kurds have their autonomy in Syria and a state in Iraq all this serves the Arab countries and vise versa''.

Doctor Abu Shaqra said: '' the Neo-Ottomanism poses threats to North Africa, more notably it paves the way for interference in the Arab countries up to Libya. This poses threats to the stability of Egypt by giving support to the Muslim Brotherhood there and it interferes in Syria. It destroyed Afin and Kobane and now it seeks to form an occupation belt in Northern Syria in Syrian Kurdistan (Rojava). Thus the Neo-Ottoamnism endeavours to contain all of these to be put under the clock of Ottomanism and gradually reviving the Ottoman tyranny. Of course this is a grave danger posed not only to the Kurds rather neighbouring countries such as Syrian  and Iraq''.

Abu Shaqra said there is a mass danger that northern Syria be attached to Turkey under the security zone and this had been the case previously in the Syrian Arab Alexandretta who population were an Arab Alawite majority. This was done in agreement with the French in 1938 under General Beu to avert the evils of the Turks and not to take part in WWII.

Turkey was appeased at the expense of Arabs and Syria in particular. This scenario may take place again from Afrin, to Kobane and up to Qamishli''.
