​​​​​​​Khalil: They defeated in Zap and  Şengal, and to be in our regions as well

 Aldar Khalil pointed out that any possible occupation attack on northern and eastern Syria is an existential issue, and said, "Our victory in it determines the fate of the entire revolution."

 Aldar Khalil said, "Even if the green light has not yet been given, we must take into account that this regime can give the green light at any moment. They are linked by many things. Their plans for our people are the same."

 A member of the Joint Presidency of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Aldar Khalil, spoke to our agency about the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on the Medyas' legitimate defense areas, the Kurdistan Democratic Party alliance, the ongoing plans against the regions of northern and eastern Syria and the recent Turkish threats to the region.

Khalil began his speech by saluting the resistance of the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna, and said: “They are waging a historic resistance against the Turkish state. This resistance is not evaluated as protecting one region only, this resistance means defending the values ​​of our people that were established in the process of struggle.  Also, this resistance is a model of peoples' resistance to defend their existence and freedom. The agreement of the Justice and Development Parties and the National Movement depends on the extermination of the Kurdish people and the expansion of the occupation of the Middle East. This fascist agreement decided to attack in all forms and methods the freedom movement, especially the guerrillas, and exterminate them.

 "Tighten the isolation even more and launch the attacks"

 In the context of the Turkish attacks, Khalil referred to the tight isolation imposed on the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, and pointed out that they launched the attacks after the pace of isolation was increased and tightened further.  There is great pressure and it exceeds the level of psychological, political and legal pressures, and it is actually unlimited torture. After they tightened isolation on the leader Apo, they headed to the mountains of Kurdistan, but the attack does not include the mountains of Kurdistan only, as there are attacks everywhere."

"The guerrilla resistance thwarted their plans."

 “The Turkish state, in cooperation with its allies such as the Kurdistan Democratic Party, sought to implicate Baghdad in these attacks as well.” With these words, Aldar Khalil spoke about the scheme of the Turkish state, the KDP and Al-Kazemi, and added: “Turkey, the KDP and Al-Kazemi implemented their scheme on Başûr Kurdistan, Şengal, North and East  Syria together, due to the absence of a center that takes responsibility and takes Iraqi interests into account in Iraq, and this is a result of the fact that a president has not yet been elected.  Their calculations and expectations. This resulted in their plan did not achieve desired results. They wanted to say, 'You made us establish safe areas there, and we will now focus on Shingal and Rojavai Kurdistan.'"

 Aldar Khalil explained that the KDP and the Turkish state had relied on Baghdad to ease the burden on themselves, and said, "Baghdad did not fully engage in it. Al-Kazemi made a mistake for himself as he wanted to establish alliances with the Turkish state and the KDP before forming parliament and the government and creating new conditions. He let out  the position of our people against the occupation in all regions. All other parties and forces in Iraq moved when the resistance of Şengal emerged and said who decided to wage such a war as a result, this plan was not completed and Al-Kazemi fell into a vacuum, but the Turkish state and the Kurdistan Democratic Party continued their tyrannical scheme."

 "The KDP is a partner in the genocide"

 He commented on the KDP’s role in the attacks of the occupying Turkish state, wondering how one can be so aggressive and talking about the use of chemical weapons, saying: “The use of chemical weapons is prohibited in all international laws. In this regard, I would like to refer to the KDP’s statement  that they confiscated the anti-chemical weapons masks, we know that these masks are sent to the PKK guerrillas. T hinking about this, we see that even if this is true, these are not offensive weapons and he should support the guerrillas from a Kurdish perspective but he is not even doing this but is hostile to the Kurds  with all his might, he becomes a partner in the genocide of the Kurds. These practices aroused the indignation of the entire Kurdish community, and they define the deep level of betrayal."

"It wants to impose its control from Afrin to Kharkiv"

 “The plans will not end with this, as it wants to continue its occupation and attacks in north and east Syria.” With these words, Aldar Khalil referred to the Turkish threats to the regions of north and east Syria and said: “When Erdogan announced an operation, all media outlets put it on their agenda as if this did not even exist.”  Now, the threats of the Turkish state have not actually stopped. We are basically engaged in fighting the enemy. There is no need for a witness to launch the attacks. The Turkish state seeks to block the way for the freedom movement and the democratic project, in addition to expanding its occupation and establishing the Great Turkish Republic.  It wants to impose its control along the line from Afrin to Kharkiv. These are open plans and we have to prepare accordingly."

 “The Turkish state will be defeated”

 Khalil referred to the current crisis in the world, stating that the Turkish state seeks to exploit this crisis. He continued, "The entire region is witnessing destabilization. The situation in Iraq is not fine, Iran is preoccupied with foreign problems, and Syria's situation is well-known.  There is also war on the global level, meaning that in general there is a crisis in the entire world system, and the Turkish state seeks to benefit from it. Basically, Turkey arrests all politicians, intellectuals and journalists in Bakur Kurdistan. It did not stop its attacks from the mountains of Kurdistan and Dersim, even Bahdinan, and now wants to continue  This is in Syria. This is a strategic and long-term plan. There is no doubt that we must be aware of this and choose for ourselves the line of freedom, and that resistance is being fought now. This resistance will fail the plans of the Turkish state."

 'Seeking concessions from America' 

Finland and Sweden have applied to join NATO.  The Turkish state is blackmailing the Kurds for not accepting the membership of these two countries.  On this issue, Aldar Khalil explained that the Turkish state is seeking to obtain concessions on this issue, and continued, saying: "The Turkish state has always suffered from a phobia of the Kurds and the Kurdish liberation movement. If the most distant countries from the region want to engage in normal trade with them, the Turkish state inquires about the positions of those states vis-à-vis the PKK, even before talking about this trade operation, is always working to exploit from events against the Kurdistan liberation movement.”

 The Turkish state is a member of NATO and Sweden and Finland also want to join the alliance.  According to NATO standards, admission to membership of these two countries requires the approval of all member states of the alliance.  Turkey sees this as an opportunity and will take advantage of it.  Just as it seized the opportunity from the Russians and occupied Afrin and took advantage of it from America and occupied Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, it is now seeking to exploit the issue of Finland and Sweden.  The policies of the Turkish state have always included this condition and this policy.  But there is something else here, which is that everyone is now aware of the fascism of the Turkish state.  Everyone also realized how dangerous this is to the global democratic project.  The Turkish state is now seeking to obtain some concessions in this matter, especially from America.  Basically, there is no need for Russia to bargain on this issue, as it naturally does not want Finland and Sweden to join NATO."

 "America will seek to please Turkey"

 Aldar Khalil commented on the Turkish state’s desire to obtain concessions, saying: “America and the rest of the powers also have some interests in the region. But they do not want Turkey to lose either. They do not want Turkey to move outside their plans. They will seek to please Turkey. How to do that is another matter.  .But it is not possible for them to finish her issue and provoke its anger. This indicates the desire of the Turkish state at this stage to make the most of what is happening in the region."

Aldar Khalil pointed out that the Turkish state has made some changes in its policy in Syria and said: "Their rapprochements with the Damascus government are not the same as before. Previously, they used to say all the time that this regime must be overthrown, but there are different rapprochements now, and there are even secret meetings that bring them together. They are no longer  It attaches importance to the Muslim Brotherhood groups as before, and the Turkish state's relationship with Israel and Egypt has changed as well. Turkey accepts everything it was opposing yesterday on the condition that it serves its war against the struggle of our people."

 "All they care about is how to change the demographics of the region."

 The Turkish state has been placing the issue of 'Syrian refugees' on its agenda for a long time.  Aldar Khalil linked this issue with the aim of making a demographic change and said: "The Turks plan to bring people from outside the region, especially the families of ISIS mercenaries, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups to these areas and settle them along the border line. If they are only concerned with refugees, then why didn't you bring them to settle?"  In these areas under its control?For example, why have they not yet sent anyone to Idlib, Al-Bab, Azaz and Jarablus. Their concern is how to change the demographics of the region. So they use the issue of refugees, constructing residential buildings, taking responsibility for the refugees as a business project through which they collect  funds from international institutions and states, in addition to the settlement of families of mercenaries of armed groups.

 Take them home, get rid of them, and use them in wars

 Aldar Khalil evaluated the Turkish state’s plan regarding refugees, saying: “It will get rid of them on the one hand and destabilize Syria and change the demographics of our regions through them on the other. This will lead to the outbreak of wars and conflicts between us after we liberate these areas. The Turkish state thinks this way; today we are fighting and witnessing a very unstable situation, but the war should continue if the situation changes in the future as well. On the other hand, you think about settling them here for a long term and then holding a referendum in it. Then you do demographics and say there is no response here. This demographic change is one of the unacceptable criteria  Human rights and the United Nations also have. Demographic change is prohibited. Building a black belt along the border strip serves the process of demographic change. Also, to be able to constantly threaten the region and facilitate its work on the issue of occupation.

 "This regime can give the green light at any moment."

 Aldar Khalil said, "The Turkish state wants to use everything to receive the green light. It seeks to impose some things if it does not receive this light. That is, to do what it wants and then bargain with the countries that ask it why it did this later. The Turkish state was built on this. Regardless of  Thinking about whether or not it got the green light we should realize that we are under constant attack.And even if you don't get the green light, we have to keep in mind that this system can give the green light at any moment.They are connected by many things.And their schemes about  Our people are the same."

 Aldar Khalil pointed out that any possible occupation attack on northern and eastern Syria is an existential issue and said, "Good experience has been gained. The most important thing is the unification of a very large segment of our people around its defensive forces. Even our society has developed its self-protection. That's why he takes everything into account."

 Erdogan will fall and go to prison already.

Aldar Khalil concluded his speech by pointing out that the resistance of the people of the region will fail the plans. He said: "The Turkish economy is deteriorating and Erdogan's political acceptance has declined. If the situation continues like this, no one will vote for him in the upcoming elections. Erdogan has committed many crimes such as looting and corruption, and has politically agreed with the forces opposing Turkey.  If Erdogan falls and loses power, he will be immediately imprisoned. In order to avoid this happening, he focuses on how to remain in power. To continue with this, he takes the joint action around which the Turks gather and makes everyone bear this economic pressure and accept the political situation by declaring slogans such as 'I am going to war against the movement'  Erdogan will actually fall, and with his fall, all the plans of the Turkish state will fail and Erdogan will go to prison directly."
