The statement of the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region came at a time when the Turkish occupation state was threatening to launch a new attack on north and east Syria.

The statement was delivered at the headquarters of the Executive Council in the Euphrates region in the city of Kobani by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Mohammad Shaheen.

The statement indicated that the Turkish state "is escalating the tone of its direct threats to penetrate Syria and occupy more Syrian lands under the pretext of establishing a safe zone with a depth of thirty kilometers."

He explained that these threats come "at a time when inside Turkey is going through a political and economic crisis, and the fascist Justice and Development Party is trying to evade it by exporting it abroad, with the approach of the Turkish legislative elections and the decline in the popularity of the ruling Turkish regime."

The Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region warned, through its statement, that the new Turkish attack "aims to displace the region of its indigenous inhabitants, and to settle terrorist mercenaries, and all this is to change the history of the region and annex it to the Turkish state."

The statement stressed that the Turkish occupation state "undermines the safety and security of the region, and its people, and it was clear in its goal publicly to change the identity of the historical areas on the Syrian border, and empty them of their residents, similar to what happened in Afrin and the rest of the occupied areas."

In conclusion, the statement called on the international community and the guarantor states to play their role, and "bear their responsibility to end the Turkish occupation, stop any new invasion of Syrian territory, and stop aggressive expansionist ambitions."
