SDF: Turkish occupation state establishes a safe haven of gangs in front lines

Yesterday, Wednesday, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement revealing the obtaining information about the movements of the Turkish occupation mercenaries on the front lines. It said:

"Many reports were received from cooperative sources confirming the concentration of mercenaries of the terrorist organization (Huras al-Din) in the villages of Kabashin and Basuta in the southern countryside of Afrin, in addition to several points in the southern front lines, in parallel with the expulsion of (Filaq al-Sham) mercenaries from those villages by the intelligence of the Turkish occupation.

The same sources confirmed the concentration of more than 300 mercenaries of (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) in the villages of (Fafertin and Bazira), in addition to the previous concentration of HTS members in the village of Basoufan and the Sheikh Aqil area in the southern countryside of Afrin, after a meeting with the leaders of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the city of Sarmada, Idlib, under Turkish auspices. The two sides agreed to reposition the mercenaries of (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham) on the fronts of the northern and eastern countryside of Aleppo and to facilitate their movements in the occupied areas of Afrin, al-Bab, and Jarablus.

The statement added, "The new distribution of the terrorist factions, led by (Huras al-Din - Hayat Tahrir al-Sham), comes within the framework of Turkish plans to establish a black belt of terrorist elements on the contact lines from the southern countryside of Afrin to the axes of Manbij and the western countryside of Kobani, and to use these terrorists in any way potential aggression.

The previous events, including the killing of ISIS leaders Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Abu Ibrahim al-Quraishi in the areas occupied by Turkey, as well as the public movements of mercenaries who committed public crimes, including terrorists (Ahrar al-Sharqiya) and others confirm Turkey's transformation of the occupied areas into a safe haven for criminal organizations, and require action internationally, quickly to prevent these organizations from receiving more training and funds, and to attract elements that would help them spread outside their areas of concentration, including areas outside Syria.”
