​​​​​​​Elham Ahmed: Kurds must unite to confront genocidal policies

Elham Ahmed, during a lecture yesterday, in Khak Square in the city of Sulaymaniyah in Başûr which dealt with the crises in Syria, Iraq, the Middle East and the world, as well as the attacks against the Kurds in Kurdistan, reported by Firat News Agency.

Ahmed, said that "there are major developments and crises as system of sovereign authorities, and the Ukrainian war has affected the entire world and affected every person, including the cultural, economic and social aspects where there is no state entity and no legitimacy.

The foundations of the state have been scattered, for fearful states are fabricating foreign wars today, and this is what the Turkish occupation state is doing in Syria, Iraq, Armenia and Libya, under the pretext of protecting national security, and the same applies to Iran.

Ahmed touched on the Turkish attacks, and said: "The Turkish occupation state is attacking NE Syria under the pretext of terrorism, it insists on occupying this region, to implement its plan represented by the Milli Charter."

She added, "What has become clear to everyone is that Erdogan and his party will lose in the upcoming elections, so they launch attacks."

In the course of her speech, Elham Ahmed referred to the positions of the Kurdish parties and indicated, "Our position towards the genocide must be unified, there are many parties which work according to their interests. As we see the Turkish attacks are against all Kurds. It makes no difference if the Kurdish is good or bad, so there must be a comprehensive Kurdish umbrella, against genocide, so we must work on it.

Elham Ahmed concluded her speech by saying, “The Turkish occupation state, through the recent attacks, seeks to empty Başûr (southern Kurdistan), under the pretext of fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party,

if PKK is eliminated at that time, Hawler and Sulaymaniyah will no longer exist. The situation must be clear. It is the right of the people in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) and the Iraqi people to demand their rights in the international arena.
