​​​​​​​PYD:  Turkish state practices are an obstacle to establishing peace

 The Democratic Union Party (PYD) condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation that targeted civilians today in Başûr Kurdistan, and called on the international community and the Iraqi government to assume their responsibilities towards the attacks of the Turkish occupation.

 The General Council of the Democratic Union Party issued a statement condemning the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation today against civilians in Çemçemal district and Maxmûr camp in Başûr Kurdistan, which resulted in the death of civilians.

 In continuation of the campaign of extermination carried out by the Turkish occupation state against the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, and in violation of the sovereignty and borders of states, it has today again bombed civilians in Başûr Kurdistan, where a civilian car was bombed in  Maxmûr camp and also bombardment was carried out via a Turkish drone in  "Totaql" village, affiliated to  Çemçemal district in Sulaymaniyah governorate, where five civilians were killed as a result of the brutal shelling and another was wounded.

 The statement added: "The immoral and racist actions of the fascist Turkish state against the peoples of the region, and the Kurdish people in particular, have become a real crisis and a major obstacle to establishing peace, security and stability among peoples in the Middle East."

 The General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) condemned "the fascist attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation state on our people in Başûr Kurdistan."  It also called on the international community, human rights bodies and democratic institutions in the world "to put an end to these attacks on our people, and we call on the government of Iraq to assume its responsibilities as a sovereign state and not remain silent in the face of Turkish fascist violations."
