After its occupation of Afrin, the Turkish occupation state began settling hundreds of thousands of mercenaries and recruits from other areas in the homes of the people of the occupied canton of Afrin, after it expelled its people with the aim of demographic change in light of international silence regarding the war crimes it is committing there.

On the position of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria regarding these statements and plans, our agency met with the deputy co-president  of the Joint Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Hamdan al-Abed, who said that what the Turkish occupation state is doing "is not a talk, but an implementation of what it planned in advance, always  the Turkish state is trying to enter the entire Middle East with an Islamic concept, with the aim of expanding its influence and controlling the Middle East in a religious sense.

Hamdan Al-Abed added: "Turkey has attracted the so-called opposition or coalition in Turkey to implement foreign agendas and claim that it is the legitimate representative of this people, and after completing its first tasks, it began to bargain with those who claimed to be revolutionaries and turned into mercenaries, as well as those who claimed to represent the Syrian people and they do not represent them except themselves."

Pointing out that "since the people of Homs, Daraa, and the Damascus countryside left and did not accept settlements and reconciliations, and moved them to the Idlib area, northern Aleppo and northern Hama, this area has become a human reservoir for terrorist groups working for Turkish agendas."

Hamdan al-Abed said: "Using the word our national security is incorrect, but it is planned in order to isolate these areas and annex them to Turkey, as it worked in the Iskenderun Brigade.  Libya and as a pressure card against Europe, all of these factors serve Turkish interests."

Al-Abed explained: "We in the Autonomous Administration are looking forward to a dialogue of reason, not to the force of arms, and we must engage in the Syrian-Syrian dialogue on Syrian soil, away from foreign interference under international auspices."

'The goal of settling one million Syrian refugees in the occupied territories is to reassure European countries'

Al-Abed stressed that "the goal of settling one million Syrian refugees in the occupied territories is a message of reassurance to the European countries as well as to get rid of them, in agreement with the Damascus government and the implementation of the decisions of the security meeting that took place in Iraq."

He added, "The second goal of this operation is to use them in the future in the elections, as it did in the Iskenderun district previously, and to annex these areas, and for Turkey to remain in Syria and complete its Brotherhood project."

At the conclusion of his speech, Al-Abd affirmed that "the project of settling one million Syrian refugees in the occupied territories through building settlements by Qatar and Kuwait in order to complete the project of demographic change in the region is rejected by all international norms and laws."
