Tirbespiyê teachers decry brutal attacks on Shingal

The educational complex in the district of Tirbespiyê issued a statement to the public opinion, about the genocidal attacks launched by the Turkish occupation state on Başûr (Southern Kurdistan), north and east Syria, and Shingal.

The statement was read in Arabic by the administrator in the complex, Fener Shaker Hussein, and in Kurdish by the administrator, Osama Diab, in the presence of dozens of teachers of the district, in front of the Seyahi club hall, and it said:

"After the increasing frequency of the Turkish occupation state's attacks on NE, Syria and its constant quest to expand in the region and thwart the Autonomous Administration, as well as Shingal was attacked through a malicious conspiracy planned by the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish occupation state within a series of attacks that did not stop on the peoples of The area that suffered from killing, captivity and destruction.”

The statement stressed, "We say you are wrong. Your malicious policies do not deceive the resistance peoples who defeated the terrorism of the Turkish regime and its cohorts from the terrorist groups that killed and displaced the Iraqi and Syrian peoples alike, and always seek to control and plunder the region's goods, and that the Kurdistan Regional Government is hostile to the people of Shingal, north and east Syria." It is nothing but a service to the agendas and ambitions of the Turkish occupation state in the region."

The statement continued, "From here, the role of the teacher emerges in educating all those who are drawn to the deception of such policies, as well as work and struggle against the conspiracies being planned against the peoples of the region."

The teachers of Tirbespiyê district also condemned, through their statement, the attack on Shingal and NE Syria, and called on the government of Iraq and the government of Southern Kurdistan not to be drawn into Turkish plans to occupy its lands and enslave its people and to take a firm stand against the Turkish presence on its lands.
