The Turkish occupation state continue its crimes against the political detainees via psychological and physical tortures, to put an end to their fight but the resistance put up in the jails and the attachment of the Kurdish people to its history and the ideas developed by leader Abdullah Ocalan led to a Kurdish revival again.

In this relation, families of the martyrs in the Qamishlo district of Girke Lege said the resistance put up by Kurdistan Workers' Party in the jails is deeply rooted and is full of pride. This resistance is to gain the rights of the repressed peoples.

On the issue, citizen Abdul Hadi Ahmed, uncle to two martyrs (Gulbahar Amuda and Heline Amuda) of the peoples' Defense Forces, the HPG, considered resistance of male and female political detainees of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and that of PAJK in Turkish occupation jails is s form of resistance ''this occupies a highly evaluated position with the literature and struggle of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement that is embodied in the resistance put up by Mazloum Dgan and his comrades Mohamed Khayri Durmush, Kemal Pir and Ali Cicec''.

Ahmed went on to say '' the Turkish state sought to subvert the will of the Kurdish people via those strugglers and to make jails a place for destroying the Kurdish people proper. But the resistance put up by Mazloum Dogan and his fellows that commenced the revolution continue today and it is the mass reply to the plots hatched and crimes committed by the Turkish state''.

An immense and unbearable torture was practiced against struggler Mazloum Dogan in the Amed Central Prison but he did not concede an inch. He set his body on fire and was martyred on 21 March 1982.

The martyrdom Mazloum gained changed the situation in the prison and the resistance put by Mazloum inspired the Kurdistan Workers' Party.

Abdul Hadi said the Turkish occupation state go on to detain and hold political detainees that are fighting for the rights of their repressed people, ''the Turkish occupation state seeks to break the will of the Kurdish people and to wipe out its identity by jailing fighters and strugglers in Northern Kurdistan''.

In turn Co-chair of the Families' Martyrs Council in the Girke Lege district Ihsan Shibli, brother of martyr Aras Shibli of the Peoples' Defense Forces, the HPG, said: Mazloum Dogan ignited the torch of revolution by setting ablaze his body. It was his martyrdom that inspired the revolution and made it spread everywhere in the Middle East in the face of seeks of genocides''.

Shibli noted these sacrifices made paved the way for a new phase for the Kurdish people and magnate people to the gains made, '' thousands of our people (males and females) to the Kurdistan Freedom movement that is founded on the ideas developed by leader Ocalan, leader of the Kurdish revival, and made a connection with their past and history''.

At the end, Co-chair of the Families' Martyrs Council in the Girke Lege district Ihsan Shibli, laid stress on the point that whatever the Turkish occupation state tightens its arbitrary  measures against the detainees they won't give up their cause and that the banner of resistance will never ever fall'', we are with our detainees, and on the approach adopted by our leader we are tracing''.
