NES Women Council condemns Turkish attacks and Damascus blockade

In a statement released the North and East Syria Women Council condemned the blockade imposed by the Syrian government on the Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrefiye quarters in the city of Aleppo and the attacks carried out by the Turkish occupation army on North and East Syrian that take place at the same time.

''aggressions o the Turkish occupation army continue as the Syrian government continue to impose the blockade on Sheikh Maqsud and Ashrefiye quarters in the city of Aleppo where basic items of everyday life are not allowed to the two quarters in a grave contradiction and violation of the international laws and norms and human rights.

We denounce and condemn the inhumane practices of the Syrian government and the Turkish occupation state where they run at the same time and they are similar.

We call on the international community to break the shameful silence it adopts towards what take place in North and East Syria and to take a firm stance and to work out for a solution to the crisis in Syria that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people in a plural, decentralized and democratic Syria that accommodates everyone''.
