Head of Al-Naima village municipality was killed by an explosive device

Today, an explosive device exploded in Al-Kashif neighborhood in Dara'a city, targeting a car belonging to the chairman of Al-Naima village municipality, that killed him.

An explosive device exploded targeting a car belonging to chairman of Al-Naima village municipality in eastern Dara'a countryside, in Al-Kashif neighborhood in Dara'a city, where he was with his family inside the car when the explosion occurred, killing him and wounding members of his family, according to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

And yesterday, a woman was killed as unidentified gunmen shot a civilian car carrying men and women, in Tafas city in Dara'a countryside, and the rest of the family were wounded.

According to SOHR' statistics, the number of the attacks and assassination attempts in Dara'a and southern Syria in several methods through detonation of explosive devices, mines, booby-trapped mechanisms and shootings carried out by armed cells during the period from June 2019 to the present day reached 1,277 attacks and assassinations, while the number of those killed as a result of this attempts during same period to 932.
