Raul says that long-term resistance, such as the resistance of the PKK, can only be achieved if the people wage it.

Efforts by intellectuals, writers and philosophers to remove the PKK from the "terror list" continue.  It also demands the peoples to put an end to this injustice inflicted on the PKK.  Despite all these attacks, threats and counter-propaganda, Raoul attributes the PKK's ubiquity to the power it derives from the people.

About his knowledge of the PKK, he says: "I know that it is a revolutionary party, and originally on the Marxist-Leninist approach and its goal was to protect the Kurdish people from the dominant countries and to guarantee their independence. The PKK has been able during the past twenty years to implement important projects and reach the democratic confederal approach."  It also provided important definitions of patriarchy through genetics. This approach has the revolutionary potential for change and management."

Tight isolation shows the moral character of the Turkish regime

Referring to the tight isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, he says, "It is an attempt to weaken the Kurdish struggle, and a small and futile attempt at revenge. The arrest of the leader Abdullah Ocalan in Imrali reflects the moral character of the Turkish regime."

"We are facing an exemplary policy of armed forces, world intelligence agencies and hostile countries. As happened during the military dictatorship in my country, Uruguay, when the soldiers arrested the entire leadership of the (MLN-Tupamaros) and held it hostage to curb the popular struggle,"he adds.

'Turkey is using the neo-colonial tactics that other powers have used'

The Turkish state used chemical weapons 323 times against Guerilla Kurdistan in 6 months.  Regarding the use of chemical weapons against guerrilla.  He stated that this is a repetition of the same imperialist mentality of the United States and France in Vietnam and Algeria.  He continues, "What is new is that Turkey, which has a history of occupation, is using the neo-colonialism in order to undermine the power of the guerrilla war, it is bombing society with chemical weapons."

He stated that Turkey has a long history of occupation and persecution against other peoples inside and outside Turkey.  Regarding the genocidal policies of the Turkish state, he says that Turkey does not only practice this against the peoples of the region, but also against its own people, adding: “The state must be able to suppress its own people in order to continue these policies.”

'The PKK is the resistance force of the Kurdish people'

He noted that long-term resistance, such as the resistance of the PKK, can only be achieved if the people wage it.  "If the Kurdish people did not support the PKK, it would have collapsed a long time ago."

With these words, he describes this struggle with inseparable flesh and nail, and says: "In fact, the strength of the PKK is the strength of the Kurdish people's resistance."

'The prevailing regimes considers anyone who opposes it a terrorist'

He says that the regime describes everyone who fights against it as a terrorist.  He added that despite the PKK's fight against ISIS terrorism, it is not surprising that it remains on the terrorist list.  On the subject, he added, "Currently, the Mapuche people in Chile and Argentina are considered terrorists, because they want to recover their lands from the occupiers. The army and private companies took their lands from them a hundred years ago. This is a common mentality among the enemies of peoples."

'We have no choice but to resist'

He concluded his speech by saying, “The PKK’s victories can be understood and understood from our awareness of the comprehensive and broad participation of the people in the battle of defense and protection, and added: “Accordingly, the differences between the people, the party and the defense forces are not entirely important details, they all become members of the same body.”  ".

We have no choice but to resist.  We must continue our current efforts at this time when the system is in crisis.  We can expect a better future only by following our plans and projects.”
