112 days on kidnapping, PDK authorities release representative of AANES, Jihad Hassan

Today, the Kurdistan Democratic Party authorities released the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Erbil, Jihad Hassan, 112 days after his kidnapping and after his health deteriorated.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) forces had kidnapped the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Erbil, Jihad Hassan, accompanied by two members of the Democratic Union Party relations, on the 10th of last June, while they were on their way to Erbil airport to receive guests.

On the 29th of last July, the PDK forces released the two members of the Democratic Union Party relations, 50 days after their abduction, while the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Jihad Hassan, remained kidnapped, amid the deterioration of his health.

Informed sources confirmed to our agency that this evening, Wednesday, the representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria was released in Hewler, Jihad Hassan, but he was sent directly to Rojava and prevented from staying in Başûr.
