Hundreds of people flocked to the shrine of the martyrs of the Kobani massacre and the shrine of the martyrs of the massacre in the village of Barkh Batan (27 km south of Kobani) to commemorate the sixth anniversary of the massacre's martyrs.
In the shrine of the martyrs of the village of Barkh Batan, the co-chair of the Education Authority in the Euphrates region, Ziyad Ali, delivered a speech on behalf of the Autonomous Administration in which he offered his sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and pledged to fulfill their wishes and complete their path.

Ziyad Ali stressed during his speech that ISIS committed the massacre in an attempt to avenge its historic defeat in Kobani by killing defenseless civilians in the massacre of the 25th of June.

He pointed to Turkey's involvement in the massacre at the hands of "ISIS, the proxies of the Turks."

On behalf of the families of the martyrs of the village of Barkh Batan, Zarqa Muhammad Ali delivered a speech in which she recalled the martyrs of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, and confirmed the following in their footsteps.

It is noteworthy that more than 233 civilians were martyred in the city of Kobani and the village of Barkh Batan after ISIS infiltrated them and committed a massacre against civilians on June 25, 2015.

The families of the massacre victims commemorate every year on this day the memory of the martyrs by visiting the shrines of the massacre martyrs and lighting candles on their tombs.
