​​​​​​​SDF arrests 4 Iraqi mercenaries who carried out murders in Al-Hol camp

The official website of the Syrian Democratic Forces said that the four mercenaries are of Iraqi nationality, and they infiltrated the camp as civilians after the Baghouz Campaign in 2019.

The website quoted from the mercenaries in video confessions that they had received instructions from leaders in the ranks of ISIS via mobile devices using Turkish communication numbers, stipulating the necessity to deliver the camp residents lessons that incite terrorism, in addition to holding accountable all those who do not abide by the instructions sent by leaders outside the camp.

According to the mercenaries, one of the most important means of holding accountable those who refuse to obey the organization's orders is killing and slaughtering which happened with three civilians.

The mercenaries confirmed that the recent measures of the Internal Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (the security campaign in Al-Hol Camp) thwarted many operations that ISIS cells had planned for in the camp with the help of ISIS women.
